BH: Begleithundprüfung (companion dog exam) (VDH/dhv)

PG - Praktischer Gehorsam (practical obedience)
When considering practical obedience (PO), the level of the dog’s training is tested for its ability to behave in a non-disturbing, obedient, safe and unobtrusive manner in its environment and towards its handler.

BRH RH-FL (rescue dog area test)
Time limit: max. 25 minutes, 1 - 3 persons, terrain conditions around 20,000 m² to 25,000 m², open and at least 50% covered terrain, max. 30,000 m². The number of persons to be found is not communicated to the handler.

BRH RH-TR (rescue dog debris test):
Time limit: max. 25 minutes, 1 - 3 persons, distractions include: smouldering fire, running motors, or similar. The number of persons to be found is not communicated to the handler.

BRH MTB - mantrailer basic test
Time limit approx. 30 minutes, track length 600-800 metres, trace age about 1 hour, person that laid the trace is unknown and hidden at the end of the trail, 2 – 4 angles, track course “in the country” (field, forest, meadow, even cross-country), scent article made of material

BRH MTS - mantrailer test
Track length 1000 – 1200 metres, trace age 8 - 20 hours, time limit approx. 60 minutes, combined track course in urban and rural environment, person that laid the trace is unknown. 

BRH MT negative

End of the track after 100 metres, trace age 1 hour, time limit 20 minutes, track course in forest, person that laid the trace is unknown
